The miniature train display at EPCOT is a charming, permanent garden railway located in the Germany Pavilion of the World Showcase, near the restrooms and the pathway to the Italy Pavilion. Featuring G-scale LGB Lehmann Gross Bahn and Piko trains, the display runs through a detailed Bavarian village with, tunnels, bridges, and landscaped, manicured scenery that changes seasonally. Location: Between the Germany and Italy pavilions, often referred to as part of the Romantic Road layout. Scale and Detail: The exhibit uses G-scale (1/22nd scale) trains. The layout features tiny buildings, including churches, houses, and shops, with intricately detailed, living plants and miniature, pruned trees. History: Originally installed as a temporary attraction for the 1995 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, it became a permanent fixture due to high popularity. Theming & Changes: The scene is periodically updated, sometimes featuring hidden Mickeys or special decorations for the Food & Wine Festival and Christmas. It underwent a significant makeover in October 2023 according to WDWMagic.
