An accomplished soloist and chamber musician, he has performed and presented clinics across the United States, Canada, and throughout Europe. He has appeared at such fine institutions as the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, Sibelius Academy, Norwegian Academy of Music, and many more. A Yamaha Young Performing Artist, Cameron won the 2017 Percussive Arts Society (PAS) International Solo Artist Competition, the 2017 Black Swamp Percussion Solo Competition, and served as Co-Principal for the World Percussion Group's 2017 European Tour. He has appeared at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) numerous times, most notably with the Eastman Percussion Ensemble in 2017 and the PAS All-Star International Percussion Ensemble in 2015. In 2016, he was featured on Emmanuel Séjourné’s Concerto for Marimba and Strings with the McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra, and Jennifer Higdon’s Percussion Concerto with the Capital University Symphonic Winds. In addition to his concertizing, he has a strong background in marching percussion, having won world titles with the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps in 2014, and the indoor percussion ensemble Rhythm X in 2013. Cameron is currently finishing his Master of Music in Percussion Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. He is a candidate for the prestigious Performer’s Certificate, a recipient of the John Beck Percussion Scholarship, and was selected as an inaugural winner of the Eastman/ArtistShare Partnership, which provides publicity and support for his future creative projects.
