Steam Locomotive Graveyard in Germany - Dampflok Museum Hermeskeil 2016

What a fantastic atmospheric place, i never thought something like this could still exist in "modern" western europe. It is called steam locomotive museum, but it is more like a steam locomotive graveyard. It feels like there are uncountable masses of old rusty locomotives standing there while you walk through the ways, and where ever you look across you see some more. Great to see they all still exist. The atmosphere there is unbelievable, walking through the small lanes with rust and nature. Inside the locomotive shed everything is very neat for this place. What a great location over all ... To get a feeling for this place i have not added music to the video, and did not cut a lot stuff out .. just pure impressions of this place. Sadly my camcorder broke down so it´s filmed with Canon EOS, not the perfect tool for this close place with difficult light. You can see german locomotives, most of them built between 1938 and 1944. The most of them are BR44, BR50 and Br52.
