In episode 8 of our DIY Sprinter van conversion, we sprayed the outside, bottom panels of our van with Rustoleum truck bed liner AND sealed the plastic clips that attach them to the van. This is a very important step because it a.) prevents rust on the outside of your van and b.) prevents water from leaking into your van which, we assume, is where your insulation will be.
