Easy Galaxy S22 Unroot Tutorial and Return to Stock Firmware Using Odin

With a program called Odin, we can unroot the Galaxy S22 to remove Magisk and return the phone back to stock firmware. ~~~~~ Hi! It's been rooted with Magisk and in today's video I'll be showing you how to unroot this phone using the PC program called Odin. This process is also going to work with the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and even the Galaxy S22 Ultra as well. I also want to make note that in order for things to be reverted back to 100% stock firmware, we are going to have to lose all of our data in the process. So be sure to backup your important information before you begin with this tutorial. To start off, we're going to need to download the firmware for our device. I've done videos on downloading Samsung smartphone firmware files in the past using programs like Frija and SamFirm, but we can also use websites like SamMobile and SamFW to get them as well. We just need to make sure the firmware we download matches the region of the firmware that we already have installed. If you're not familiar with how this is all done, be sure to check the video description below as I'll have links to those other tutorials for you to watch and get yourself caught up. We're also going to need to download and extract the files for a program called Odin, which we'll be using to flash the firmware files over to our smartphone right here. Once we have Odin and the firmware on our PC, we can go ahead and boot the Galaxy S22 series into what is known as Download Mode. I'm using the USB method here with the Volume Up & Down buttons, but if you're not sure how this is done either, then again, look down in the video description as I have dedicated tutorials for this process as well. Now let's go ahead and open up Odin and load up the firmware files into the program in preparation to unroot the Galaxy S22 smartphone. AP BL CSC (not home) AP When ready, let's go ahead and click the "Start" button here at the bottom and we'll just need to wait until the process is complete. We've set everything up that we need to, so now we're just letting Odin finish the job and waiting patiently while the original Samsung firmware is being installed to our device. After some time, we see the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, or Galaxy S22 Ultra has now rebooted on its own and we'll just wait until the phone brings us to the Android Activation screen. And once we skip through all of that, we're now booted back into Android without Magisk installed at all. This completely unroots the Galaxy S22 to bring us back to the stock firmware for our device. You should now be able to install OTA updates like normal, and apps or games that didn't work because your phone was rooted should now start to work again.
