1955 Harley Davidson FLHF Panhead -- Cold Start & Ride

This 1955 Harley Davidson FLHF Panhead is an early year production model. Built during the first 6 months of 1955, the Pans (valve covers) only have 6 bolts attaching them to the heads. Mid-year production models have 12 bolts per cover. These are the correct covers, gaskets, and heads, all with 6 bolts. This motorcycle is currently owned by the third owner. Originally sold as a PD bike, this 1955 Harley FLHF was then sold in the San Francisco area where it resided for over 30 years. Current owner sought the bike out because of his collecting scheme (born in `55) and he immediately commissioned a full restoration. The restoration is so incredible that it received First in Class recognition at the LA Nationals in 2015. This 1955 Harley Davidson FLH is one of 1004 produced and it is ready for the next owner to Ride and Shine! Carefully review the pictures.
