Sharing the same underpinnings as the Porsche Cayenne, the 2015 update brings a freshened engine lineup, a streamlined variant range, and some cosmetic touch-ups inside and out. The range is, interestingly, all diesel. First is the 150kW/450Nm 150 TDI (up 50Nm from predecessor), which uses a 3.0-litre V6 engine. Prices start at $67,990. Reviewed here is the mid-range V6 TDI, starting at $81,990. It comes with the same engine but it's tuned to 180kW and 550Nm, and, subsequently, fuel consumption is a tad higher; 7.2L/100 versus 7.4 in this. The range-topping V8 TDI R-Line comes with a 250kW/800Nm 4.1-litre turbo-diesel V8, which uses 9.2L/100km.
