How to make a marbled chocolate breakable egg and how to have perfect seams after filling it with candy. White chocolate is melted and separated into bowls to be colored using an oil-based color. The back of a spoon is used to dab a thin layer of each color of chocolate in the mold. Do one color at a time and let each color harden before adding the next. Once colors are hardened, fill the rest of the mold with white chocolate. Press the edges of the mold to move the chocolate to the bottom. The colored chocolate will start to soften, so be careful not to squish around the mold too much, or it could all mix together. Refrigerate for 10 min, or until chocolate easily releases from mold. Measure out candy. On the lowest heat, melt one side of the chocolate egg until the edges are even, fill with candy, then melt the other side of the chocolate egg. Carefully press each half together and hold to form a seal. Wipe off any excess chocolate. You now have your beautifully marbled breakable Easter egg! Package as desired!
