Palmetto State Armory AR-15 [Full Review] This best thing I like about this value "Freedom" line AR-15 from Palmetto Armory is its trim, lightweight Midwest Industries MLOK handguard. It free floats the barrel and gives versatility. In other respects this PA-15 "Freedom MLOK" version from Palmetto State Armory was little bit of a mixed bag, especially accuracy. It does clock in at an impressively lightweight and the BCG and bolt are of milspec quality. AR-15 builders have used these in-house produced Palmetto Armory components for years. Built this is a complete rifle, apparently hidden on their webpage. This is a quick but thorough review of that gun and at the end you’ll have an idea how this ready built Palmetto Armory PS-15 AR-15 stands against other high value offerings as the Springfield Saint, Wyndham Weaponry, Ruger AR556, S&W M&P-15 Sport II, Delton Echo, Savage MSR, etc. Its price and feature set are attractive. Reports are that the higher end PSA FN-produced barrels are 1 MOA. However other price point AR-15s like M&P15, Ruger AR556 and Savage MSR are 1 MOA and more reliable for less money than this PSA. Therefore the review is accurate in apples to apples comparisons as made in the GRV, no apologies. Thanks to Gunnies Western Wear in Orem, UT for the items sometimes provided to TNP for review...like the clothing. Look them up, say thanks!
