Thousands of area residents first learned to swim in the YWCA warm water pool. Those swimming lessons continue today for everyone from infants to the elderly. "Rusty Hinges," "Aqua Aerobics," and other water therapy exercise classes use the pool's exceptionally warm water to help speed recovery from injury, surgery, and arthritis. The warm water pool has open swim times (see the pool schedule) and is available for party rentals also. Local health care professionals advise the Warm Water Pool to the clients for therapeutic exercise classes and movement.
