How could female entrepreneurs influence gender equality? | Orel Hashmatia | TEDxRamatAviv

In her talk, Orel shares her story as an employee and as an entrepreneur, in today's high tech industry. Even though managers and companies are well aware of gender equality issues, they are still not successful in getting women an equal standing in positions of significant influence. Orel shares her perspective on the systematic problems that lead to this reality, and on the ways women today can become leaders that disrupt the organizational status-quo. Orel is the Co-Founder and CEO of Causalis.ai, a startup company that develops AI-based technology that helps Oncologists make treatment decisions for cancer patients, involving them in the process. She is a B.A in Law and Economics, and MBA from the London Business School. Orel is active the community, as she held roles as a Council Member and the Head of Youth and Education in the Shlomi city council, her hometown. Also, she is active in Women in High Tech communities, advocating for equality and helping colleagues find their place in the industry.
