Auric Aegis is Kind of Crazy...

Defeating Auric Aegis, a mod by Nova that require some mandatory parrying with the Second Sentinel fight to make it slightly more challenging. This is the later version that increased parry damage to speed up the first phase. I tried the older version after beating this and that first phase drags notably to where I'm happier with this version. It does make the second phase easier but it felt like that phase was more just finding opportunities to blitz down the boss when it's in the corner and heal up afterwards. Unlike with Second Sentinel it is possible, albeit quite rare, to be hit at the ceiling with the beams when healing. As long as you don't try to heal when they're about to do a beam attack you're generally safe even with the slow multibinder heal. Otherwise it's a neat idea as a boss that reminds me on the pantheon of parry mod back in Hollow Knight, except that this one has a normal phase instead of requiring parries the entire way.
