Biochar for your organic soil for your plants , quick reasons why it’s important. Bio char is very porous. Therefore, it makes an excellent place for bacteria and fungi to live in and to net work out of. When the soil dries up, or there is extreme heat in the medium, the bacteria have a haven to hide and you might lose some but at least you’ll have some that survive and will re-populate when the soil is back to normal. Also, it’s good to put nutrients in your bio char because if you don’t and you get it uncharged this could take nutrients out of your Soil so do your research on that part. I usually get it uncharged  so I can add my own nutrients and beneficial bacteria. I will do another video in the near future on how to do this. I usually do 3 to 5% per 100 this usually works for me some people put more than that in there that’s up to you once again do your research. Also it holds a lot of water that is important for when there is drought in your soil medium.
