The ceremony was led by UNESCO chief Federico Mayor as other members of Rabin's family stood sombrely at the Square of Tolerance outside the UN agency's headquarters. The square was under construction at the time of Rabin's assassination last November. Two days after Rabin was killed the square was dedicated to him.
