Step By Step Guide ..... Our 2014 EU Leaf was one of the ones that didn't have the optional [at the time] 6.6kw onboard charger option. So, after a year of searching for a good used unit, this one was sourced for under $400 - its not coded to the car, so its entirely Plug & Play - its not a difficult job either, just very lengthy ..... I took 2 days over it, but boy is it worth it for the doubly faster AC Charging :-) The Mk2 shape ZE1 is the same job to swap, but there wouldn't have been a 3.3kw OBD fitted - there are sporadic reports of early ZE1 OBC failures, so this will help you fit a used replacement. {subtitles being added for each frame as time allows ;-) }
