Injustice 2 is the continuation of the 2013 released fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Once again, Warner Bros Interactive is responsible for its creation. The story is a direct continuation of its predecessor. Heroes and villains from the DC Comics universe face off against each other again. Players have the opportunity to embody characters like Batman, Superman, Flash, Supergirl, Gorilla Grodd, or Atrocitus, among others. However, these are just a handful of the characters available in the game. Compared to the original, the sequel offers a much wider selection of heroes. Each character evolves during the duel, expanding the range of available moves. The gameplay mechanics have not undergone major changes. Two characters with superpowers still face each other. Naturally, each hero has a different fighting style and special abilities. A completely new feature, however, is the progression of fighters. By defeating opponents, players gain new items that change the appearance of the character and affect their fighting style. Equipment also allows unlocking new attacks. Importantly, evolution affects not only the warriors but also the arenas during battles. Fighting in locations like Metropolis, Gotham City, or Atlantis, players witness the evolution of the setting. New elements appear, while others undergo destruction, positively influencing the dynamics of the battles. Injustice 2 runs on a modified graphics engine of its predecessor. Therefore, the production offers a more eye-pleasing audio and visual presentation.
