Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 26 February 2025, we will start today's video with flood damage at Duban and the south coast of KZN in South Africa, today. Heavy rain overnight at Hibberdine in the area resulted in flood damage. Rain along the N2 towards Durban. We stop at the Mr Write gift, treats and reads shop in Hermanus. Great FlySafair Springbok livery seen at the OR Tambo International Airport in Kemptonpark. Tubing on the Kaaimans River at George for fun. The Lower Sabie Rest Camp deck in the Kruger National Park this morning, where it was quite windy. A beautiful sunset along the R42 between Heidelberg and Meyerton in Gauteng. Drive along the R56 near Steynsburg in the Eastern Cape Province. Gordon's Bay tidal pool and Bikini Beach, and then we will show more videos today from around South Africa. The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows: Today's forecast reveals cooler and cloudy conditions, particularly along the southern and eastern coasts and the adjacent interior regions. There is a likelihood of scattered rain showers in these areas. In parts of the Eastern Cape Province, KwaZulu-Natal Province, and the eastern escarpment of Mpumalanga Province and Limpopo Province, scattered thunderstorms are anticipated throughout the day. Conversely, parts of the Northern Cape Province and western regions of the Western Cape Province are expected to experience warm to extremely hot conditions. Isolated thunderstorms may develop later in the eastern Northern Cape, as well as in certain areas of the Free State and North West. Severe thunderstorms featuring heavy rainfall, damaging winds, excessive lightning, and hail could lead to localised flooding in vulnerable roads and communities, along with potential damage to infrastructure in northern and central Limpopo. Disruptive rain with localised flooding risks in susceptible urban and informal settlements, as well as on roads and bridges, is expected in the extreme northeastern areas of KwaZulu-Natal Province.
