I am REALLY enjoying Pianoteq. Here is a bit of midi I found online (here: https://tonyupton.tripod.com/miditune..., an old Welsh tune called The Ash Grove. I loaded it into Atom2, merged the tracks and changed the scale - it sounds much better in Mixolydian, in my opinion! Far more feeling to it. Note that it is in 3/4 time, so I also set AUM time signature to 3/4. Midi Curve from the ‘Midi Tools’ collection is adding a bit of velocity randomisation, making it feel more human. Ddtctmcc by Alexey Nadzharov is being used to control the Pianoteq sustain pedal in real time, and the open beta is available here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/cia... (no state saving as of yet!). Gauss is set to do Frippertronics-style loops every 3 beats, Reelbus is adding some subtle tape fx and flanger, and Grand Finale is used for rough and ready mastering. If you enjoy this, please give it a thumbs up. If you’re into iOS music - and I also often conver desktop apps that are also available for iOS, why not subscribe! My videos on Kai Aras Artifacts and Baby Audio Super VHS still have open giveaways at the time of writing - you will see links to them appearing on the top right as you watch the video. If you miss the links you will find them in my archives (or click the top right of the video and choose ‘info’). When you go to those videos, read the pinned comments, where you will find the instructions to win on YouTube as well as links to the Twitter, Insta and Threads giveaways. Make sure you read the instructions for different platforms carefully, as they differ slightly. Good luck! And oh - big thanks to Wayne from Singapore, who sent me a generous PayPal donation today, the first I’ve had in months. Cheers Wayne, you rock!
