Crew-11 astronauts "proud" of NASA's response to medical emergency during mission

Crew-11 astronauts who returned to Earth a month earlier than anticipated due to medical reasons said on Wednesday that they are "proud" of the way NASA responded to the issue.   NASA's Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke were joined on the return by Japan's Kimiya Yui and Russia's Oleg Platonov.   "NASA made all the right decisions, in my opinion. This is a really excellent example of risk analysis and decision-making, and I'm very proud of the decisions they made," said Zena Cardman.   "When we had this emergency, the ultrasound machine came in super handy. So I'd recommend a portable ultrasound machine in the future," Mike Fincke added.   NASA has not identified the astronaut or the health issue that led to the cancellation, citing medical privacy.
