Welcome to Hole 8 at Quinta do Vale Golf Course in the Algarve, Portugal — a 355-meter par 4 that rewards control and course management. A well-placed tee shot aimed at the bunker with a gentle draw will follow the natural curve of the fairway. While there is out of bounds left, only a major hook will bring it into play. Players who find the fairway will have a direct line to the elevated green. The approach is no less demanding — with two well-placed bunkers protecting the target. A small circular trap guards the front, while a clover-shaped bunker lies behind. Miss right, and you’ll find a brook that’s known to swallow anything off line.
