This is an important part of local Diwali traditions in Bengal! ⛩️ Later, we visited the famous Sahapur Bhare Maa Kali Temple, a unique and mysterious temple. According to locals, the idol of Maa Kali was made overnight with wine, and worship continues through the night. During the rituals, animal sacrifices are offered, and the Bhog (prasad) is eaten outside the home, which is considered sacred and traditional here. It was an unforgettable and spiritual experience — celebrating Diwali the Bengali way, full of devotion, culture, and emotion.
