Virtual Virtual Reality 2 but Cookie harasses me the entire time. Y'all I am sooo excited to be playing this! It's already super fun and can't wait to make more episodes of this! I really hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did! Stay safe, have a great day/night, and I'll cya! :) The month of February is Black History Month, a month to celebrate the accomplishments of black Americans and people of color all over the world! I want to take my channel this month and use it to share black history and have an open conversation with you all! Today I want to talk about Charles Bolden. A graduate from the US Naval Academy and serving in the military for over 15 years, Bolden decided his next step in life was to become a part of NASA. In doing so, he became the first black American NASA administrator, piloted two space flights and commanded two others. After being sworn in as a NASA administrator, Charles Bolden stated in an interview that his three main goals as a part of NASA are to re-inspire children to indulge in science and math, to expand NASA's international relationships, and to help Muslims feel good about their contributions to math and science. Charles Bolden also had big dreams of assisting the first human flight to Mars. He was even the first person to have their voice broadcasted on the surface of Mars! Bolden officially retired from NASA on the 19th of January, 2017, and now lives in Houston, Texas with his partner, Alexis. Article: ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles... ) I also want to use my channel to educate about present problems that people of color face, still to this day. Systemic and general racism, white privilege and lack of education, police brutality and many other things are still a huge issue even in first world countries. It's better to face these issues rather than ignore them, and a big step if you are not a person of color like me is to educate ourselves. I'm going to leave links to charities you can support, as well as books and articles we can look at and learn about history that wasn't taught in school and how we can be better people and face discrimination we may not even realize we're causing. Again, I want this to be an open conversation, so if you'd like to discuss this with me, feel free to leave comments or dm me on any of my socials! Thank you and have a great Black History Month!
