My First Michelin Recommended Restaurant in Philly | Suraya

Michelin Guide has finally arrived in Philly! Join me as I take on all 21 of Philadelphia’s Michelin Recommended restaurants, starting with Suraya, a modern Lebanese restaurant known for its vibrant flavors and long standing reputation in the city. This was my first time trying a pre fixe menu, and it was a great intro. The moment we sat down, they brought out unlimited pita, warm and fluffy, perfect for dipping into their rich and creamy hummus. The mezze were bright and fresh, and the mains had strong seasoning and texture that really showed off Lebanese cooking. Every dish felt intentional. And the desserts really finished it off well. The kunafa was crispy, sweet, cheesy, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. As this is Spot 1 of 21, Suraya is taking the number one position on the leaderboard for now. The rankings will change as I make my way through the rest of the list.
