I decided to try my hand at animating. Turns out it’s a lot harder than it looks. Shortly after the 267th episode of the Super Best Friendcast “Juggalos in Jerusalem” aired, I began my work on this project. This was mid to late October of 2018. I had never animated before. And at the time, I didn’t have much time to spare to put into animations. On December 16th, 2018, the Two Best Friends Play channel came to an end. Saddened by this, I lost my will to continue on with the project. It wasn’t until another six months that I started again. Then, life got in the way again. I got a new job, my college work was catching up to me, and I had begun to post other videos on the channel more frequently. By now, it was October of 2019. On my Snapchat memories, I saw the first frame of the animation on there (which was actually not used in the final animation, funnily enough). I didn’t want to abandon the project. When I had left it last, I had done over 1000 frames. So I began crunch time. Most of November, I was unable to work on the project, but I knew that was going to happen. So I spent a good chunk of the rest of October and the first few weeks of December locking myself in my room, and working on the animation anywhere from 4-10 hours a day, 4 days a week. I decided that with the impending COPPA act, I absolutely had to release it before the new year. It took a lot more out of me than I was expecting, and it may not be of the highest quality. But I hope that the video that was originally meant to be a celebration of TBFP, and then later changed to a sendoff of TBFP, and then later changed back into a celebration was worth it. This will be the last animation that I do for a long while. The original video was going to be almost four minutes long, but cuts had to be made for the sake of both time and sanity. (The art style changes so frequently because of the time gaps between working on the project. Sorry for the inconsistency) Thank you very much for watching. And thank you for reading. Thank you to Aaron Hickman for his sad version of Green Greens. (Listen to it here) • Green Greens (Tears for Iwata) And, of course, thank you to Matt, Pat, Woolie, and Liam for all of the laughs that got me through some of the toughest times of my life.
