Bourou NOGUCHI Hakodate is located 1 km west of Hakodate Airport and a 10-minute drive. As you can see from the map here, it is on the extension of the Hakodate Airport runway, and the plane is flying directly above. A 5-minute walk from the ryokan is Hakodate City Tram Yunokawa Onsen Station, and you can reach the center of Hakodate in about 30 minutes. Although it is a ryokan（traditional Japanese inn), it is an eclectic mix of Japanese and Western styles, and when you enter the entrance, an artistic public space reminiscent of a modern museum spread out. The check-in procedure was completed at the Water Side Cafe, YUGEN, located in the lobby on the 1st floor, with sweets. This time we stayed in a SUITE room with a size of 120 square meters. SUITE seems to be all maisonette type, and I stayed in a room on the 9th floor, but in the room I climbed the spiral stairs and stayed on the 10th floor. The view bath is large enough for 3 or 4 people to enter, and You can use the hot spring water of Yunokawa Onsen. There was a spacious bed for inviting a comfortable sleep and a living space with a comfortable sofa for a truly comfortable stay. Tea candy was prepared in the room. Both Kintsuba, which uses red beans from Hokkaido, and cookies, which use grains such as potatoes, were both delicious. In addition to drinks such as coffee and tea, beer in the refrigerator was also provided free of charge. You can view the runway of Hakodate Airport from the east window. In addition to the SUITE we stayed at, this ryokan has a 60 square meter WA MODERN room and a 30 square meter OHITORISAMA room for single guests only. The building is on the 13th floor, of which WAMODERN is on the 11th and 12th floors, and the view of the airport seems to be best in this type of east-facing room. There is an open-air bath on the 13th floor on the top floor, and you can see the airplane which arrives and departs from Hakodate Airport from there. Yunokawa Onsen is close to the sea, and you can see the Tsugaru Strait. Also, because the sea is close, the hot spring water of Yunokawa Onsen has a salty taste.
