The family of the late Mr. Garth Clide Edwards regrets to announce his passing at his home on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in New York, United States, at the age of 57. Garth, was a dedicated shop steward, brick layer, construction worker, and union member for 27 years. He was well-known for his kind heart, great food and unwavering commitment to his community, both in the U.S. and in Dominica. His wishes were always to give back, reflected in his final request to have his life celebrated and to continue to feed and care for people, just as he did contributing to elderly care while visiting his beloved Dominica this fall. He is survived by a vast network of loving family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Sisters: Brendalie Augustine, Deloris and Shirmane Edwards, and Ingrid Charles. Brothers: Jim, Kent and Matthew Augustine. Too numerous to mention all are his … Nieces: Adelka Musgrave, Andy Abraham, Bernice and Pearl Winston, Kiwanii Pond, and Shannia Mason.
