If you watch Arsenal Fan TV, especially up until last year, then you surely know who DT is. You know, the blonde-haired guy who is always mad at Arsenal and their bad performances. Even if you don’t religiously follow AFTV, you must have come across clips of the ever-angry DT on social media each time his favorite club, Arsenal lost a game. But we haven’t really seen anything from the very vocal football enthusiast since the turn of the new year. So, it begs the question; what happened to DT from Arsenal TV? Well, here it is plain and simple; DT, whose government name is Liam Goodenough, was arrested on the 26th of July, 2021 for kidnap and assault. And on that same day, the 42-year-old was charged. Apparently, 2 days before his arrest, DT stalked his ex-partner and used a tracking feature on her phone to trace her to a hotel in Aylesbury where she was staying at with a friend. Some reports say that the victim and her friend were out on a date and DT was consumed by jealousy and rage. He first sent a series of messages to the victim’s brother asking for the victim’s exact location while also threatening to kill himself. But after the brother refused to give him that information, he went ahead to gain knowledge of her location through other means. He then showed up at her hotel, verbally abused her, assaulted her and the friend she was with, before then dragging her from the hotel room all the way to his car which was parked outside. DT lied to the victim that her son was in the car in order to get her to come with him. He also told her that he had a knife on him, so she reluctantly followed him out for fear of her son’s safety. However, when she got to the vehicle and found out that her son was not actually there, she began to struggle to escape. Thankfully, there was a Good Samaritan standing by who saw the victim struggling and immediately came to her rescue and helped her get out of the car. So, with attention being drawn to the scene, DT quickly fled without her. 2 days later, the viral Arsenal fan was arrested, and every doubt about his loyalty to the North London club was put to bed as he happened to be wearing an Arsenal jumper in his mugshot. He was initially charged with physical assault, kidnap, and stalking. But upon police investigation, it was discovered that DT, real name Liam Goodenough, had done more than what he was originally arrested for. In addition to the first 3 charges, DT was further charged with disclosing a private photograph of a sexual nature and “controlling or coercive behavior in an intimate or family relationship”. Liam Goodenough’s case was heard in the Aylesbury Crown Court on the 5th of November, 2021, where he pled guilty to all the charges. He was then sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and then was issued a 10-year restraining order.
