This is the Mitchell T333CE-BST acoustic-electric guitar. And I have a lot of thoughts about this cheap auditorium-size cutaway acoustic-electric guitar from Mitchell, okay?! Some good. Some bad. Opinion: dangerous. But whoo boy did it come poorly setup. It was unplayable without a truss rod adjustment because the neck was so bowed the strings were fretting out (demo of what I mean in this video). 😆 After I gave it a professional setup, though? My goodness. And the sound? Well, you'll have to watch the video to hear my thoughts about that! These are usually on sale for under $250. I got an exceptional deal at $179.99, but I talk about if I think it's worth $250 in this review because I only saw it under $200 that one time. A note about using the Shure SM58: I know it's not typical to use this live vocal mic for recording an acoustic guitar, but I've owned it for 25 years and guess what? This is supposed to give you an idea of what the guitar sounds like and it's not supposed to be a professional recording produced for the masses. (No post production -- no reverb no nothing -- on the audio samples here!)
