MISSION: ROYAL STAGE. NAILED IT! When construction turns into performance, HOF shows its strongest side: everything planned, designed, and implemented in-house — every detail precisely tailored to the requirements of the Royal Ballet & Opera House London. Five completely renewed lighting battens, each 21 metres long and engineered for maximum performance and flexibility above the stage. A customised lightweight aluminium construction reduces the overall weight of the batten by around one third (!), while delivering maximum modularity and flexibility for fast scene changes. Fact Check: – Modified MLT FOUR Pre Rig Truss used as the Mother Truss, installed “upside down” and carrying around 70% of the energy-chain storage – Modified MLT THREE Pre Rig Truss and HOFFORK 350-5 systems used as a modular Bottom Truss, fully detachable without complete disassembly – Lightweight aluminium design: around one third (!) lighter than the previous construction – Reduced construction height from 4.7 metres to 4 metres – The entire truss construction can be moved vertically over 25 metres in height – Over 9 tons of energy chains, with a total length of more than one kilometre (!) – Full HOF engineering and construction — designed for maximum stability, flexibility and performance The film captures the entire process: engineering, prototype construction at the HOF Headquarter in Mettingen, integration work at the RBO site in Aberdare, and the final installation in Covent Garden — completed in just two weeks. The full story: Engineering. Teamwork. The Royal Ballet & Opera House London. Holy Shit, this is performance. Film on – watch now!
