The farmhouse where I am staying right now in Brokenhead, Manitoba(CA) has an old school fireplace that I am spending most of my waking hours at. It is probably what I will miss the most getting back home to Germany. I don't have much data over here, so the digital entertainment is somewhat limited, which is a blessing and a curse. I am staring into the fire, playing old time country tunes with my partner and watching DVDs on a super old TV. If some of the music I upload these days isn't perfectly EQed forgive me, I only have my laptop with a handful of plugins on, so the best stuff remains at home in my studio. For this video I used only a violin and a small modular fx rack including an MI Clouds and Ornaments and Crime clone, the Bastl FX Wizard and the Milky Way by Endorphins.es. I am still getting to know modular synthesis, but it's a lot of fun to play around!
