How to Install RGB LED Rings on Wet Sounds REV10 tower speakers. (See PARTS LIST BELOW) These are the Blast LED rings - since we could not get the WetSounds version due to back orders. We will continue this series on how to wire up and mount on a Centurion Maximus Tower (Fi21). These are RGB (Red/Green/Blue) so they do multiple colors. You need a 12 volt power source and a controller (see link below for controller). For questions & concerns - Read notes below - after the links section. Please Subscribe so you will know when I continue this series and show how to remove the Downfire speakers and mount the new Rev10's and wire up the controller. These rings required some modification (all of about 10 minutes with a dremel sandpaper tool attachment. The rings were slightly big for the opening. BUT - since everywhere that sells Wet Sounds was out of stock - I rolled the dice on these. They worked. I don't know yet how reliable the actual led strip will be. But to replace it would be cheap. You can buy the strips cheap and just trim them to fit. Be super careful, the speaker housings are plastic and you can strip the bolt threads. Also, don't slip while using the screwdriver and poke a hole in your new $1600 speakers. I don't know how the customer service is for Blast LED. I tried to call them and it went to voicemail. But if you are handy, the only thing you can't replace yourself is the plastic ring. That is the ONLY thing you can't manufacture yourself. The LED's are generic and can be bought anywhere.
