One of the most common questions about the Mixed Reality Racing Setup is "How do you line up your wheel?". Demonstrated in this clip; I have buttons mapped for camera/seat position up/down/forward/backward/pitch up/pitch down. My seating position in reality is more suited to road and GT cars, and the slight tilt upwards does not match most F1 car wheel positions which are more horizontal.. so when I accurately line it up, my seat is way too low and I am unable to see over the dash. I have to compensate with added tilt as seen in the vid. Also demonstrated is the dynamic ambient lighting using Phillips hue light bars. When using reactive ambient lighting (as opposed to static) Time of day heavily affects Passthrough especially at midday when the sun is at it's brightest.. and as a result the reflection off the wheel is bright enough to overpower the ambient lighting, resulting in ghosting through hands.. This can be corrected by either disabling virtual wheel, or turning down brightness/gamma/exposure/sunlight etc. But then you will always have trade-offs if having the entire scene too dark at other times if day, and/or ghosting through hands due to no virtual wheel.
