Yes, it’s true, Anidala Week is happening! And soon! So everyone get excited because this entire week of your favorite couple is going to surely give you massive feels! :D If you couldn't really read the details of Anidala Week in the video, here it is again: “This is one week set apart from the rest of the year that will be entirely dedicated to Padme and Anakin, in the form of — ART! If you’re interested in participating, let’s delve into this, shall we? Calling all shippers, you are invited to show your love for this pairing using any artistic expression of your choice, be that; drawings, edits, videos, gifs, literature etc. Be creative, and take your muse wherever it leads you! This is not a contest of skill, but an event to showcase our appreciation for literally how much we cannot contain our love for this couple (it’s not something to be suppressed, believe us!) What will happen is between the dates of May 4th to May 10th (2015) there will be a theme idea posted each day. We hope everyone participates and has a wonderful time celebrating this beautiful, underrated couple.” The themes/prompts for each day are: Day #1: Happiness. We are going to start this week off with some happy Anidala! Do you want to see your favorite ship happy? What would they be doing to make them so happy? Are they going on a date? You decide! Day #2: Secrets. Uh oh, it seems our lovely couple may be keeping secrets from others, or each other. They could be keeping secrets about their romance, hidden marriage or secret pregnancy. Hiding behind doors to sneak a hidden kiss. Padme hiding her baby bump from others. Maybe they are in the middle of a kiss (or etc.) and someone walks in and catches them, possibly Obi-Wan? You decide! Day #3: Force Ghost. Our lovely couple are now Force Ghosts watching over their children and grandchildren. Maybe they are watching as Leia and Han get married or at the birth of their first grandchild? Or maybe they are watching Leia get her first lightsaber. Either way, our favorite couple is happy to see their happy, growing family! Day #4: Sadness. Oh no, something isn’t right, our favorite couple is sad. What could be the cause of this sadness? Could it be Padme after finding out what Anakin as done in Revenge Of The Sith? Could it be when Anakin had to leave again to fight in the Clone Wars and had to leave Padme? Or could it be Vader having to live his days without his beloved wife, maybe he is remembering good days with Padme and it breaks his heart knowing what he’s done? Maybe he has a hologram of her beautiful smile. You decide! Day #5: Fairy-Tales. Have you ever wondered what fairy-tales Anakin and Padme could be? Maybe they are beauty and the beast? Or Padme, being a mermaid (Ariel) and Anakin being the Prince (Prince Eric). Maybe Cinderella!Anidala, Aladdin!Anidala, Princess & The Frog!Anidala, Rapunzel!Anidala or maybe Snow White!Anidala. You decide! Day #6: Gender Swap. What if instead of Anakin being the male Jedi Knight, he was actually a woman Jedi Knight? What if instead of Padme being a woman politician, she was actually a male politician? Tell their love story in a different way! Day #7: Free For All. This day is a really fun one because you can do whatever your heart desires! Do you picture Anidala being on a different show? Like, for example, what if Anakin was The Doctor (from Doctor Who) and Padme was the companion, what if they fall in love in the TARDIS? What if Anidala has super powers and were super heroes? What is Anakin hadn't turned to the dark side and lived his days with Padme and their two children? You can do anything you want! Whatever comes to your mind!
