Exchange of news content, joint trainings and seminars, development of new formats of multimedia interaction, as well as promotion of information at national and international levels - these are the areas of cooperation that the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex and the Chinese News Agency Xinhua are ready to strengthen. Their leaders signed a memorandum of cooperation during a bilateral meeting ahead of the China–Central Asia News Agencies Forum in Astana. The heads of the media holdings of both countries discussed issues related to strengthening a comprehensive strategic partnership, amplifying the voices of Central Asian and Chinese media in the international information space.
