I finally made it to my first jazz gig at Jazz Cafe Camden with my husband, who is a big jazz enthusiast. It was a soulful evening featuring two remarkable performances. Greg Spero with Spirit Fingers: Led by Chicago-born pianist and composer Greg Spero, Spirit Fingers is a quartet renowned for blending early 70s jazz fusion with hip-hop, pop, and modern funk. The ensemble comprises: • Greg Spero – Piano/Composer • Lox – Drums • Ben Glasser – Guitar • Matt May – Bass Their performance demonstrated remarkable musical synergy, delivering a high-energy show that captivated the audience. Greg Spero’s extensive experience includes touring with artists like Halsey and the Miles Electric Band.
