W.C. Fields is reported to have been born at 63rd & Woodlawn in Philadelphia. Records show that his father worked, and it's possible the family lived for a time at either one of these two places, the Arlington Hotel at 7th and Main St. or the Buttonwood Hotel at 9th and Main in Darby, PA. The hotels are long gone, but these are the locations where the hotels stood.
