I'll keep the details a little less long winded but still detailed enough for certain individuals to understand what's happening. The original video of this was made by Woozy when he ran around some of critical ops maps inside of CS-Portable. Link: • Critical Ops maps ported into Critical Str... This just happens to be one of the maps that woozy has shown in his video. Map file was obtained by woozy and sent to me some time ago, had initially worked on it without using ProBuilder but it was extremely time consuming making sure that everything would work correctly to a point where i just stopped working on it completely. I somewhat recently discovered that you could add ProBuilder using the built-in package manager and that's where i decided to start from the original base map that woozy sent me but with a better understanding of what is happening and got to work. Some meshes have some weird corruption happening purely because of me spamming the "ProBuilderize" button on virtually every mesh using automatic settings just so the lightmapper could be happy and not constantly warn me about meshes not having normals. That obviously had some side effects as you can see in the video. I noticed also that it seems that only a handful of meshes are experiencing the Z-Fighting-Fade type effect. I'm quite sure it's all boiling down to me "ProBuilderizing" everything. edit: it was one of the shaders causing it The tree leaves are also a bit fucked up but they have been fixed since the videos release by writing a completely new shader which made the original shader obsolete. The bombsites are also flipped but that literally boils down to CS-Portable being CS-Portable. The are some other less notable issues to describe in detail like the skybox and some of the map ambiences not being fully finetuned yet and a version specific issue with the "HOSTAGE HAS BEEN RESCUED" as a result of an engine version upgrade which required the game to be mostly rewritten. The planned release for this map and update is in the 4.2 update but that can change depending on if I run into any further issues. CS Metal Discord: / discord
