HEY GIRL, So today's video is a little different its all about #BodyConfidence and how I've learnt to accept my #size12 - 14 body shape. I've learnt to stop being so strict and critical of myself and instead eat foods I love and be sociable without feeling guilty about it. Exercising and healthy balance is so important but there is no need to punish our bodies with strict routines. Here are my steps to becoming body positive and loving my midsize body. 1. Remove toxic people who make you feel bad about yourself 2. start a hobby that makes you feel passionate. Overthinking is something I struggle with so much if I have too much time on my hands I literally cause havoc on my own life. When I’m working towards a goal and doing something I love I’m so much happier and allows me to meet other people who like the same things as me. 3. Wear clothes and try new styles that compliment your bodyshape, don’t just wear something because all your friends are wearing that, stand out! 4. Do things that make you feel good mentally and physically do little things to make you feel extra special. Skincare routine, hair masks, bath bombs, wearing stud earrings and nice jewellery, nails and toes painted. Learn how to project the confidence you feel but at all times. 5. Exercise, I’m a size 12-14 but it doesn’t mean I don’t exercise or love to be active, I love me time I get with exercising, walking , the gym anything that gets my body moving. I’m not trying to lose weight or be strict with my body. I do it because it makes me feel good. 6. Talk about your feelings. If your boyfriend or friend has made you feel a certain way by their actions and it’s playing on your mind, communicate that with them. Don’t let it sit and build inside you, try and help them understand why that makes you feel the way you do. Sometimes people have no idea that their actions have affected you. 7. Stop getting weighed, stop caring about what dress size you are, stopover editing your photos just be yourself. 8. Don’t invest all your time and energy into someone you just met in the hope that they will make you feel good. Put yourself first and see if they can bring anything to the table but also don’t have such high expectations of people. Finished stories are boring.
