The Serendip Conservation Park, located an hour from Melbourne near Lara, offers various walking paths, including a wildlife walk, wetlands, a lake, and a bird hide. While the wetlands are currently dry due to a lack of rainfall, the lake is home to several species. The park features flat, well-maintained paths and excellent birdwatching opportunities, with common species like Red-wattle and New Holland Honeyeaters, and rarer sightings of Cape Barron Geese and Spiny-cheeked Honeyeaters. Facilities include barbecues, seating, and toilets.
