Got a longbow at last so ButOfCourse had to film a bit of my first shoot with it ... and do a bit of ever popular "put camera at risk", too. :-) In this clip I'm deliberately canting the bow as it seems more natural to me. What is not so easy to see is that I'm also shooting "three under". As in, all three of my draw fingers are beneath the arrow nock. Not sure if I'll stick with that style or go back to the two under, one above that I use for recurve. I'm loosing here from a measured 10 metres in this clip but shortly after went to 20m with pleasing but unfilmed results.. Oh, and the back quiver location look a tad odd ? Was deliberate ... I've got a sore right elbow ATM and it was easier for me to reach back with the quiver hanging more to the left, which put my field tip arrows behind my head rather than behind my right shoulder. Whatever works best on the day, right ? :-) regarDS
