Fuel feed pump is a component mainly used in diesel engines. The function of a fuel feed pump is to pull fuel from the tank and transport fuel through the fuel filter to the fuel injection pump. The fuel feed pump is located on the fuel injection pump and the fuel feed pump is driven by the shaft of the fuel injection pump. The fuel feed pump has two categories: Mechanical fuel feed pump and electrical fuel feed pump Mechanical fuel feed pumps are located on the fuel injection pump in the engine and driven by the shaft of the fuel injection pump. Electrical fuel feed pumps can be located anywhere in the engine and are driven by the electric power of the battery.
