Cherub Fest 2025 – Roots of Virtue, Wings of Care St. Joseph’s Girls’ College celebrated its grand annual function Cherub Fest 2025 with grace, splendour, and a spirit of togetherness. This year’s theme, “Roots of Virtue, Wings of Care,” was unveiled in a heartwarming and imaginative moment by our tiny cherubs, adding wonder and delight to the evening. The celebration was graced by our Chief Guest, Most Reverend Louis Mascarenhas, Bishop of the Diocese of Allahabad, and our Guest of Honour, Reverend Monsignor Reginald Paul D’Souza, Vicar General of the Diocese of Allahabad. Their distinguished presence added immense warmth and honour to the occasion. The programme commenced with a solemn prayer dance and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, signifying wisdom, hope, and divine blessings. A charming storyline featuring Aladdin and a modern-day Genie wove the entire event together, guiding the audience through performances rooted in compassion, courage, and care. Students across all classes showcased an impressive range of performances — dances, songs, skit, roleplay, a Kavi Sammelan, the school report and a special tribute titled A Salute in Symphony dedicated to the life and values of Pope Francis. A key highlight of the evening was the felicitation of the ICSE and ISC Board Examination Toppers 2025, along with achievers in sports. Their accomplishments were proudly acknowledged by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, inspiring the school community with their dedication and excellence. Cherub Fest 2025 stood as a glowing testament to the essence of SJGC — nurturing virtues, celebrating talent, and shaping young minds with empathy and brilliance. The evening concluded with a spectacular finale followed by the National Anthem, leaving every heart filled with pride, joy, and gratitude.
