So this is it: The very final part of the game. That dark portal leads to Demise, where part of Zelda's soul is with now. Once you go into that portal, there was no going back. Since this video focuses on me beating Demise, I take the portal either way. The dark portal leads to some kind of place in the sky, where the floor is nothing but clear, reflective water. This final battle is, of course, the most serious one, because if Link fails, Demise will be able to conquer and kill everything and everyone he loved. This final battle takes the form of a sword duel. Link and his True Master Sword vs. Demise & his Black Master Sword, what was originally Ghirahim. This all takes place in a now-darker version of their battlefield. Demise can use his sword to block any of your attacks. You also notice that, if you try to prepare a Skyward Strike, nothing will happen. You can't do this, yet. Instead, block any attack that he launches at you. If you do this right, he'll leave himself open for a bit even if it doesn't look like the case. Keep slashing him until he starts blocking around or if he's about to counterattack. Whether he flinches or not, if you hit him, you're golden. Eventually, Link successfully knocks Demise away. This only makes Demise angrier and stronger as he now changes the scenery to a massive thunderstorm. Through the lightning of this storm, he can now unleash his own version of the Skyward Strike. From there, Demise will either shoot waves of lightning at you, or quickly strike you directly. He switches between attacks somewhat unpredictably, so I sometimes get hit over it. Luckily, Link can take advantage of the lightning, too, as he can charge his own sword with lightning, but the preparation can be random at times. Successfully land a lightning-powered Skyward strike on Demise, and he will be paralyzed. That's when you strike him as much as you can. If you're able to knock him down, quickly try to finish him off with a thrust to his chest, powered by more lightning. If you miss, don't worry! It looks like it gets a bit easier to finish him if you strike him more beyond an attempt. Just keep trying and eventually, Link will be able to bring down the Demon King once and for all.
