BEWARE!!! The number of bolt holes for your transmission pan may be different!!! There are TWO different types of pans for these CVTs! So double check and count the number of bolts your pan has and order the correct gasket. In this video, we go step-by-step to show how to change the transmission fluid and filter on our 2007 Nissan Altima with a 2.5 liter engine. This Nissan CVT transmission is known as JF011E or RE0F10A. There are TWO different types of pans for these CVTs. So double-check and count the number of bolts your pan has to order the correct gasket! This video shows how to drain the fluid (including some models that have a drain plug while others may not) and replace the mesh filter located inside the transmission pan. If yours doesn't have a drain plug, you will have to drop the pan and allow all the fluid to drain (have to drop the pan anyway so not a huge deal) other than that, the process is the same between these variations. Don't forget to verify which gasket you need because there are 2 different types!
