We trained from Anchorage to Denali on the 8-hour, Denali Star train ride. On the way up, we did Goldstar service, and on the way back we did Adventure class. I definitely have a preference between the 2, especially for the cost. This is a must do activity in Alaska, especially to go to Denali National Park. After arriving in Denali, we spent one day exploring the park. We did the non-narrated bus tour to mile 43 (as far as you can visit in 2025), and then did a hike at the Savage River loop.
