This reel is from the Chinese market and at only $28, it didn't feel like a huge commitment to pick one up and give it a try. Are you fishing on a budget? Then come along with me as I discuss the features and characteristics of this reel and then take it out on the water for some bass fishing to get my first impressions. I am also trying out a new lure today that wound up doing quite well for the pond bass that I was targeting. Overall, with the huge range in price for fishing gear, including reels, there is generally a 'get what you pay for' aspect. But I have found that cheap gear can get the job done for the weekend warriors out there. The biggest question when using inexpensive gear is durability. Only time will tell if this reel will hold up.
