Breath of Fire 3 (PS1 - 1997) Leveling Peco: -I never used Peco after acquiring him in the party so he stays level 1 up to this point. -I had to find 4 enemies and use Ivory Dice on each until the EXP they give is 65,535 - which the max xp a single enemy can give. Part of the strategy is finding a random battle with a DRAK in it since he is paralyzed right of the bat, and a few others that can easily be disabled; in this case by using Sleep. This helps keeping them down while throwing Ivory Dices and avoid killing them thru Reprisals. -Peco needs to use the Skill MONOPOLIZE (learned from D' LONZO) so he earns all the XP by himself. -After throwing enough Ivory Dices on all enemy, we can now hand them their butts. And Voila! We now have a big boi in the party. *This leap can definitely be topped off by fighting an enemy cluster of 5 or more and using the same strategy. **He is under BAIS' apprenticeship so I can avoid all status penalties and still net an additional strength stat per each level gained. I then enrolled him to FAHL after this battle. Grinding Ivory Dice -I spent probably a couple hundred hours in the FACTORY. PIPE BOMBS and EGG GANG have a decent drop rate for Ivory Dice. I also farm Power Foods here by stealing them from Hob Goblins. -On a separate note, I also have 14 Faeries set to give gifts so I can periodically earn Stat boosters from them while grinding. ________________________ NOTE: I play this on ePSXe for Android (BOF3 v1.1 ROM). Therefore, I am using save states and speeding up the game by toggling frame limits.
