Ingredients: 290g (2 1/3 cups) flour 200g (7/8 cup) butter 130 g (2/3 cup) sugar 9g vanilla sugar 1 tsp baking powder Pinch of salt 3 egg yolks Filling: 5 large apples 50g butter 50g sugar Pinch of salt 1 tsp cinnamon Meringue: 5 egg whites 200g sugar Pinch of salt Directions: 1. Combine the flour with butter, salt, and baking soda. Add egg yolks, vanilla sugar, and sugar. Mix until fine crumb forms. PS: If your crumb is to sticky add a little more flour. 2. Put it in a 26 cm springform. Stick the crumb only on the edges and sprinkle on the bottom. Put it in the fridge until you prepare the filling. 3. Peel the apples and cut them into 8. 4. In a pan add butter, sugar, salt, and cinnamon and mix. Add sliced apples and caramelize for about 5-7 min on low heat. 5. Pour apple filling in the springform. 6.
