Written by Stefan Zauner, Aaron Strobel, Hubert Kemmler and Susanne Müller. Produced by Armand Volker. The extended 12 inch version of the #24 German hit for the gentlemen from Munich, Munchener Freiheit. The single entered the German charts in November and remained there over the Christmas period for a 16 week stay. It was their third German hit for the year; the others being “Ohne Dicht” and “Tausendmal Du”. Stefan Zauner and Aaron Strobel were members of the group, who took their name from a subway station in Munich. Fellow co-writer, Hubert Kemmler, was a member of the trio, Hubert Kah and wrote MF’s 1991 hit, “Liebe Auf Den Ersten Blick”. In their own right, Hubert Kah had a number of big hits in Germany; particularly “Rosemarie” and “Sternenhimmel” in 1982. MF used an English language version of this song, “Romancing In The Dark”, as the title track of their first English language album in 1987. However, that is not a translation from the German. “I would be grateful if someone could provide an English translation of “Es Gibt Kein Nächstes Mal”. “There are no closer times” or “there is no next time”, perhaps?
