Using VU data logger with EasySense Software https://data-harvest.co.uk If you want Vu to record data independently from the computer for a specific length of time (rather than the EasyLog method of ‘log till you stop’) select Remote, Setup Remote from the Home screen. Deselect the tick next to any sensors from which readings are not required, click on sensor’s name to check the range you want to use is selected. Click on Next. Select the length of time that you want to record for, Next. Select the condition for logging to start (the default is when enter is pressed and Finish. The settings will download to Vu and a message will appear on the computer to inform that ‘The logger is now set up for remote logging’. Click on OK. Vu can now be disconnected from the computer and placed in the recording position. It will not start logging until the right arrow button on the logger is pressed.
